Greek Episode 2.12 From Rushing with Love

Rush is in full swing at the ZBZ house. Asleigh and Casey are hard at work prepping their sister for the new batch of recruits when Ash gets a tip that Martha Stewart's niece Maya is among this year's corp. OMG! Major Points if she pledges! So Casey tries a risky move when the recruits come by for open house: She focuses her sisters on recruiting Maya, even at the cost of ignoring many other rushees. The ZBZ's have their fingers crossed.

Rebecca has another uber-secret Deep Throat-style meeting with Ash and Casey to spill about Frannie's rush plans. The Ickies are having a post-skit-night party with boys and brooze -- a big rush faux pas (but only if you're a member of the Pan-Hellenic Council ... which IKI is not). Frustated that they haven't brought Frannie down yet, Casey blames Rebecca and says she's not doing enough. Rebecca accuses Casey of being a control freak. They sure enough, ZBZ's skit night RSPVPs are way down from last year, but Ashleigh's not worried. She knowa they have skit night in the bag because a) they're doing a repeat performance of their awesome Project Runway skit from last year, and b) Maya's coming. Except -- uh-oh. That skit's not happening. Well, it IS happening -- at tje Icky house. One of the ZBZs let Frannie abscond with all the props and costumes when Ash and Casey weren't looking. But when they march over to confront Frannie, she reminds them it was HER skit. And then she twists the knife with the news that Maya got kicked out of rush for being a total fraud. Turns out Frannie was behind Ash's "tip" the whole time. They're so screwed! Just in the nick of time, thay throw together a Sisterhood of the Traveling (ZBZ) Pants skit. And they manage to get a respectable amount of bids anyway, even if the rushees aren't all the cream of the corp.

By the end of rush, Casey and Ash have had enough of Frannie. and they're beginning to think Rebecca might be a double-couble agent, feeding them bad info on purpose. After they hear from a rushee that Rebecca's badmouthing ZBZ over at the Icky house, they stomp across the sreet and call her out in front of Frannie. Except that Rebecca's not double-crossing them; Frannie's just been giving her bad info because she knows Bex is a (not very good) mole. Frannie humiliates all three in front of everyone at her very packed house party, and they slink away in shame.

Meanwhile, the Omega Chis (and every frat on campus but one) are throwing everything at Andy, the freshman football player who's Calvin's high school beffie. But Evan's only giving lip service and making Calvin do most of the work. He even tells Calvin to make the bid fro him, because he can't be bothered. Calvin's starting to have doubts about his fraternity, and he's not pushing Andy to join at all.

Rusty so fired up about rush! But he seems to be the only one. The KTs don't really rush, Cappie tells him. They believe in Karmic Synergy. They don't find the rushees; the rushees find them. Uh ... what? Rusty's not convinced that's a very good plan, and it seems so much worse when he gets a rush crush on Andy the football player. He decides to cheat a little and gives Andy tips on how to get a bid. When Cappie finds out, he crosses Andy off the list permanently. But int the end, Rusty discovers the best way to get his brothers to back Andy ... and after he gives an ispiring, rising-music speech, barn! Andy's a KT. Let the initiation begin.
