Clark chases down a suspicious seeming Natasha Radkovich, who attempts to avoid her theft charges by offering information about a DOA identified as Anne Brunell, a drug-addicted young woman with a missing daughter. Video surveillance of Anne and her six year old daughter getting into a cab leads them to Frank, a cabbie, who said he dropped her off at Williamsburg. Something about Frank doesn't sit well with Clark. Arroyo forcefully interrogates Natasha when he finds her bloodprint at the crime scene and she gives up the location of Anne's wallet which contains a motel address and a guy's name. We eventually discover that Frank was running a prostitution ring out of the cabs. They tear into Frank's house to find Anne's daughter unharmed but Frank nowhere in sight. Clark confronts Natasha's about her relationship with Frank and the scorned girlfriend reveals that Frank stashes his cash all around town. On a hunch, Clark and Owen find Frank's stash at his mother's grave and arrests him when he comes to find it. Clark and Owen get Frank to confess that he strangled Anne after she failed to pay back her cocaine debt by turning a trick and he subsequently strangled her and made his girlfriend Natasha help dispose of the body. Clark secretly gives Natasha part of Frank's stash to help her start over, but the entire exchange is a set up by Arroyo to secure leverage against Clark.
