Synopsis

Morris has been appointed the new chief resident and immediately locks horns with Pratt as they deal with the casualties from a fire at an apartment building. Lewis is taking out her frustration from not being tenured on Carter and Ray, the latter secretly helping a teenager who is being sexually abused. Kovac finds Sam's pregnancy test, but quickly discovers that she's not pregnant, and they jointly lament their lack of communication skills.
