Synopsis

Lewis assigns Kovac to teach the residents how to communicate more effectively with their patients. They are put to the test when two teenagers are brought to the ER with gun shot wounds. Lawyer Herb Spivak shows up at the ER and annoys just about everyone. Pratt continues to dazzle with his medical skills but fizzle with his teaching ones. Also, Abby returns to work still dealing with the trauma of her abduction, but a pep talk from med student Jake gets her back in the game.
