Alan is shirty with Viv when she looks forward to seeing the male strippers at the sports club. Sarah's baby is checked and is fine. There is a story in the Hotten Courier about Eric. Nick is worried that Elsa has hired a firm of top feminist solicitors from Leeds. Two outsiders are sacked from the local committee and Dermot voted onto it. Jack asks for money and pleads for help from them; the committee decide to consider it. Alan tries to get one over on Lynn by pledging to donate all his takings from the opening night of The Woolpack to the appeal fund. Eric is mad that his photo has appeared in the paper.
