Laurie recalls the time when everyone's schedules got mixed up and they all went away and nobody really knew when they were coming back. That's why Jules wants to celebrate Thanksgiving ASAP just in case they're not around next fall. CUE THE TITLE CARD. It reads: "Welcome to Cougar Town. Are we still on TV?" Love it! Ellie forces the other members of the cul-de-sac crew to go along with the Fakesgiving plans. Bobby thinks the only reason she's doing this is because she wants something from Jules. Turns out she does. Ellie wants Stan to be the ring bearer at her wedding. Jules will allow it as long as the kid can wall down a makeshift aisle without being distracted.

Stan comes through like a champ. Jules is bummed. Then she mortified when Stan shatters Big Carl into a million pieces. This prompts Jules to call Ellie the worst mom ever. Not good. Jules pressures Grayson to write some killer vows for their wedding, so he comes up with a nice little song. Now the pressure is on Jules to come up with some killer vows, too. That's why she asks Travis to come up with something good. He then seeks help from Bobby and Laurie. In other news, Jules apologizes to Ellie for what she said. She was just upset over losing Big Carl. She explains how much he meant to her. Travis, Laurie and Bobby realize her words would work well as wedding vows. Grayson helps Andy prepare for the upcoming "pizza toss" event to help boost his public image as he runs for mayor. They use Play-Doh to practice. It doesn't go well. Andy is depressed. Grayson tries to get him back into the game, as they need to be a team now. Andy is inspired to toss the dough like a true pizza-making pro. The crowd goes wild! All is well with Jules and Ellie as the gang gathers round Fakesgiving dinner. And while Travis should have changed a few words of the vows he wrote for Jules (Grayson can fit a whole bottle of wine in him and is easy to carry?), it was still sweet. And so were her words for the gang. Aww.
