Travis may be getting older, but that's not going to stop Jules from giving him random advice. It's a mom thing. As far as dad things, Bobby has a patent pending on something called dog boarding. An example of this new sport is witnessed as Travis lets dog Travis pull him back to college on his skateboard. We say again, this is a patent pending activity. It's also a dangerous one, as Jules finds out when Travis ends up in the hospital.

Travis took a bad fall, but he should be okay. Odd neighbor Tom says he'll need a follow-up CAT scan. Did you know Tom is a neurosurgeon? Jules and the gang didn't. In fact, they don't even know his last name. It's Gazelian, by the way. As far as Travis, he must wear a helmet over the next few months as a precaution. Jules tries to help him get over his embarrassment by having a helmet party. This has Trav telling Jules that she's a great mom. It's a declaration he was originally saving for her eulogy.

"You got dominated!" That's just something any member of the Cul-De-Sac crew will hear if pelted by a ball while not looking. It's a new game Bobby invented called "Dominance Ball." It's for guys only. That doesn't fly with Ellie and Laurie, who have bonded because of their mutual disgust for Andy's hideous feet. Apparently, he has all big toes. Anyway, the ladies want in on the domination game. May the best sex win!

Ellie and Laurie wonder how Jules is keeping it together regarding the Travis situation. Jules feels that she may avoid the traditional meltdown that accompanies these motherly moments. All that changes when she learns Travis intends to return to school helmetless. Not good.

Jules saves Travis from accidentally being hit by an incoming ball that was meant to dominate Laurie. She lets her son that she'll never stop worrying about him no matter how old he is. The only thing that's changed since the day Travis was born is that Jules can no longer tell him what to do. She can only ask. When she does so, Travis heads back to school helmet and all.

Andy lets Grayson in on a little secret. He has a place where he finds affection during those times when Ellie ices him out. It's the dog park. Yes, Andy lets himself be bombarded with hugs and licks from any canine companion who will have him. He believes Grayson will become just like him once he gets married. That may be true, as the G-Man can't seem to get any attention from Jules lately.

Grayson seeks affection from anyone who will give him a hug. Andy was right. He knows a lot about Grayson since he spies on him all the time. Andy advises his pal to stop looking desperate when he wants a little affection. It's solid advice. Jules cuddles up to Grayson the moment he acts aloof as a smiling Andy spies on them from across the room.
