Time to eat the sword! Allow us to explain. There's a guy at an outdoor walking mall who promises he's going to eat a sword. Bobby's hooked. The guy's a total tease but there's no way Bobby's going anywhere until the stalling street performer swallows some steel. The phrase "eat the sword" quickly becomes the cul-de-sac crew's personal "just do it" slogan.

Jules is impressed at how well Grayson takes the news that she slept with one of his roller hockey buddies. It happened before they got together, so why wouldn't he be cool with it? In other news, Jules needs to get her driver's license renewed. Too bad they'll likely replace the sexy picture currently on it. Ellie says, "Sweetie, the fresh-faced girl in this picture died a long time ago. You smothered her when you slept on your face for 20 years." Sounds brutal, but the critique is part of a "harsh truth" pact they have with each other.

Grayson decides it's time to tell Jules that he and Laurie slept together. Laurie is fine with it, as she's totally in love with Smith. She even finds herself breathing his name. Smmiittthhh. Grayson and Laurie realize that Jules will be less mad at the person who tells her first. They race down to the DMV to blurt out the news just as Jules is getting her new license photo taken. FLASH! It's not a pretty picture.

Jules plans to reveal who will bear the brunt of her wrath reality show-style. The biggest loser must hand over their wine glass and go. Jules tells Grayson that he slept with her friend. But in his defense, they weren't dating yet and he probably thought she was way out of his league. She tells Laurie that she did not know that Jules like Grayson when she slept with him. A decision has been made. The person Jules is mad at is... going to be revealed in the next paragraph.

Okay, it's Ellie. She knew about Grayson and Laurie and never said a thing. So much for harsh truth. The tribe has spoken. Ellie hands over her wine glass and leaves the group. A short time later, Laurie tells Jules that she actually did know how she felt about Grayson. She slept with him anyway. Now that's some harsh truth! It's also unforgivable. Jules lets Laurie know that their friendship is over.

Travis is striking out with the ladies at college so he's off to hook up with Kylie, who has added a few weapons to her romantic arsenal. Travis wonders where she learned all these new moves. Could it be with another guy? Travis decides to break up with Kylie but she rejects that proposal. Kylie likes telling people she has a boyfriend in college. She also likes seeing other people. Both initiatives will proceed without interruption whether Travis likes it or not. Eat the sword, Trav. Eat the sword.

Bobby wants Smith to open up to him about how he feels now that he knows Grayson slept with his girlfriend. Smith says he's fine with it. Bobby doesn't buy it. He's not gonna let up until Smith reveals his true feelings. The problem is those are his true feelings. Shouldn't he care more way more than he does? Looks like Smith has just had a painful epiphany. On the bright side, Bobby finally does see that guy eat the sword.

Jules flat-out refuses to let Laurie off the hook. She always forgives everyone for everything and feels it's her worst quality. Grayson argues that it's actually her best quality. Nevertheless, Jules refuses to bend until she sees what's happening in her courtyard. Smith breaks up with Laurie leaving her in tears. Laurie's always been a free spirit when it comes to men, but this was different. This was love. Fortunately, she still has her friend Jules to help her through this.
