A vandalized grave stone with the word "rapist" spray painted on it has the detectives reinvestigating the 1982 murder of a popular and well respected college student. The victim, Mike Delaney, was considered a big man on campus at the time, but had an even bigger reputation as a womanizer. This reputation along with a police report filed accusing him of rape lead the detectives to a group of women who had all been raped by Delaney.
The police woman who took the initial rape report from the single anonymous victim did nothing at the time because there was no evidence to support the crime, and no law that could protect her. Tessie, the anonymous victim, was supporting her younger brother and going to college, but she eventually quit school because of the incident. As the detectives interview more victims of Mike Delaney, they also all become suspects as the evidence points to a woman as the possible shooter.
The discovery of a diary kept by one of the victims who had committed suicide indicates she knew she was not alone in her pain and that there were others who wrote about their experiences on "the wall". The details are revealed on a bathroom wall on campus, where his victims declared Mike must be stopped forever. The women had decided to confront Mike on campus and stop him once and for all, but when the time came they couldn't do it. However, Tessie's 12-year-old brother, who saw his sister raped, was the one who decided to finish what the women started by shooting and killing Mike.
