Kevin and Scotty are prepping for some transitional weekend visits with Olivia, the little girl they are adopting. They've been watching Paige while Sarah is out of town, so she's been helping them get Olivia's room ready. She's also been sneaking a boy into their place while the guys are out. His name is Sean and he's on the football team. When Sarah returns, she says, "I go away for a week and Paige is tackling the quarterback."

As you might expect, Sarah grounds Paige even though her daughter swears she didn't do anything inappropriate. She didn't. Olivia, however, does do something wildly inappropriate when she swipes Scotty's wallet. In what appears to be a preemptive strike to avoid heartache, Olivia tells Kevin and Scotty that she doesn't want to stay with them. Ever!

Sarah convinces the guys that part of being a parent involves making kids do things they don't want to do and then sucking it up when they stare at you with utter loathing. Scotty says, "Wow, that was like you were just channeling Nora." Kevin and Scotty convince Olivia that there's a good chance that they'll love being a family together. We'd take that bet in a second.

Remember how Justin heroically saved a guy with a collapsed lung during an ambulance ride to the hospital? Well, not everyone thinks he made the right call. He's going to have to appear before a medical board that could suspend him if they rule that his actions were ill-advised.

Annie's friend, Dr. Rick Appleton, tries to brace Justin for what lies ahead. During their chat, it becomes evident that Annie and Dr. Rick may have been more than friends in the past. Be that as it may, Rick turns out to be a decent doc who convinces the board to let our favorite paramedic off the hook. Justin worries that he may have done this to impress Annie. Nah. Dr. Rick can see how happy she is and knows that Justin is the reason why.

Saul remains plenty upset with Jonathan, but still invites him to attend a wine-tasting event at the restaurant. It's obvious this man from his past is looking for forgiveness, but Saul can't give it to him. Jonathan promises to never bother him again. Saul eventually does find it in his heart to forgive Jonathan, just like we knew he would.

David scores a teaching job in New York, so he and Holly are moving to the Big Apple where they'll be with Rebecca. But Holly isn't ready to leave. There are gobs of boxes filled with memories of a past she still only partially remembers. Nora convinces David to take the red-eye east while Holly moves in with her. This way she can look through the boxes when she's ready and not a moment before. Sounds like a plan!

Nora's psyched to engage Holly in a cavalcade of activities. First, there's an early morning trip to the Farmer's Market. It was cold and still dark outside, but Nora brought a flashlight. Then it's time for extreme yoga, a museum trip, a mountain hike and a cooking lesson on how to make lasagna from scratch. When Nora mentions that colonics are also on the schedule, Holly goes ballistic.

These two eventually make nice and Holly admits that she's terrified of what her future holds with David and Rebecca. Nora suggests taking a match to all those boxes she's been avoiding. What better way to head into the future than with a clean slate. A cathartic beach bonfire is followed by an emotional farewell as Nora, Sarah, Justin and Saul say their goodbyes to Holly. Sniff, sniff.

Holly isn't the only person heading east. Kitty says she's off to DC to visit Robert's kids. While she's there, she's planning to take a couple of meetings to possibly restart her old life. That doesn't go over very well with Seth, who doesn't see himself as part of this "new old life" thing Kitty has planned.

Nora comes across an old film reel that William stored amongst Holly's things. The footage features a young Nora having dinner with a man named Brody. He's the guy she was dating before she married William. The film was shot through a restaurant's window from the outside. This leads Nora to the inescapable conclusion that her future husband was having her followed. The only question is…Why?
