Danny and Kate arrive at a college campus to find a drug dealing student shot in the head execution style. Because the crime is narcotics related, narcotics Detective Eddie Stone is assigned to work with them and there is a lot of tension between them. After a staged drug buy has them bust another student dealer, she leads them to well-known drug dealer Otto Jackson, but they soon find out that she was covering for the real killer, a supplier who is a professor at the college. Meanwhile, Erin is fighting with Nicky about going to a college party but eventually lets her go when Frank won't back her up. Meanwhile, Jamie also has a life crisis when he reconnects with a former law school classmate who works on Wall Street who is beaten up when trying to give out supplies to the homeless.
