Everyone packs his or her bags and cowboy hats and flies to Texas. Dallas was recently named one of the fattest cities in America, so the players are going to inspire an entire community to get in shape. Ali's waiting to greet them with news they'll be heading to local radio stations to spread the word about a 5K they'll be running this weekend. Listeners can join in!

The next morning, all the runners show up at the Cotton Bowl, ready for the 5K. Ali welcomes the enthusiastic crowd and introduces the players, who are excited to know they're inspiring people to change their lives. Each player is assigned to train with a team.

Most of the players join their teams when the run begins. Michael hangs out with the last place runners from his team, because he knows what it's like to come in last place. He wants to motivate his team to keep up their journey. Koli cheers for all the runners, regardless of what team they're on.

After a woman named Deborah shares the story of losing her mom to a stroke and having to deal with the genetics of her obesity, O'Neal breaks down. That's exactly the same condition he was in before coming to the ranch. O'Neal convinces Deborah to believe in herself, because from what he's learned on the ranch, that's the key.

Once the players finish the race, they cheer on the other competitors. Sunshine's determined to finish the race with her dad and goes back to look for him. Walking with his group, O'Neal lights up when he sees his daughter running towards him.

Each player is moved by the stories they hear from their teams. Jeff is an overweight man from Texas, who's been inspired by the show to lose 65 pounds. He knows he has more to lose, but Koli assures him he's made a great start. After Koli finishes his race, he goes back to cross the finish line with Jeff, who just completed his first 5K.

As the players celebrate their teams crossing the finish line, Koli looks around for CJ, a walker he promised not to leave behind. Koli grabs Sam and they find CJ together, struggling to walk and leaning on her daughter, Marissa. CJ's goal is to finish the race. Sam and Koli are on hand to encourage her with every step.

Meanwhile, at Dallas 24 Hour Fitness, Bob makes a surprise appearance. After a warm welcome, Bob leads all the gym users in a group workout, pushing them just as hard as he pushes the players on the ranch. Then Bob hosts an open forum, allowing participants to ask for advice.

The players gather round a rodeo ring to hear about their challenge. Ali tells them they're about to grab the bull by the horns. The players they will be herding baby cattle into their pens. Whoever collects the most calves will win immunity at the weigh-in.

Sunshine and O'Neal work as a team. Hoping to win immunity for her father, Sunshine collects calves and puts them in O'Neal's pen. In the end, Koli wins the challenge and immunity.

Jillian visits a local high school, where she meets last season's player, Abby Rike. Abby hopes Jillian can inspire the students to get in shape and eat healthily. Jillian creates an open forum for students to ask questions. One young woman breaks down in tears, telling Jillian her story. Jillian advises the student to believe in herself. After the assembly, Jillian takes the student aside and helps her with inspiring words of advice.

Bob and Jillian meet the players at a nearby gym, ready to give them a workout. Noticing Sunshine and O'Neal aren't with the gang, they find out that father and daughter had to attend O'Neal's brother's funeral. Both Jillian and Bob worry because Sunshine and O'Neal are scheduled to return on weigh-in day.

In the gym, Bob brings the pain to Koli this week. He doesn't care about Koli's immunity, he just wants to see him workout harder. Koli is determined to make it through, no matter what.

The players notice giant monitors playing highlights of moments on the ranch as they walk towards the weigh-in scales, just outside of the American Airlines Center. Everyone just wants to hurry up and weigh in, since it's only 34 degrees.

O'Neal and Sunshine both fall below the yellow line. O'Neal wants Sunshine to stay, even though she feels selfish. O'Neal asks the players to eliminate him out of respect; he'll do great at home. The players respect O'Neal's wishes.
