The players are feeling somber after saying goodbye to their friend Abby. But Ali cheers them up with the news that they are headed to Washington DC to help motivate a nation into eating right and getting healthy. The players board their plane and most of them celebrate because they no longer need a seatbelt extender.

The players arrive in DC and are happy to see their old shirts are waiting for them. Ali tells them they are no longer teams, but they are now individuals playing just for themselves.

The first pop-up challenge as individuals is to find as many people on the street to show up for a giant group workout with Bob and Jillian in front of Jefferson Memorial. Some of the players are enjoying their celebrity status. The winner gets to feed their entire team Subway sandwiches.

Liz is so happy to find out she won the pop-up challenge by one vote. The trainers come out to train all the people the players have rallied up. Bob loves taking the stage and later joins Jillian on the ground to push the people that the players recruited.

After Liz's team all receive their free Subway sandwiches, the players next step is to meet with a few senators and explain to them the importance of educating people about obesity. The players share their stories of being obese and growing up with a lack of fitness and healthy diet in their lives.

The players all meet with Ali outside Constitution Gardens where she tells them they will see four national landmarks at this week's challenge, starting with running two laps around Constitution Garden. Being the winner of the pop challenge, Liz gets to choose one to skip. But, not knowing what the other challenges will be, she says she'll do the mile. The two slowest runners will be eliminated.

The next part of the challenge has the players meeting outside the Lincoln Memorial steps, where they find mounds of pennies, representing how many pounds have been lost in the history of The Biggest Loser. The players are to climb the steps and collect the pennies in their own personalized jars. Liz decides to sit this part of the challenge out. The two players in last place will be eliminated.

The remaining four players in the challenge; Rudy, Liz, Daniel, and Rebecca, meet Ali outside the Capital Building. The players are introduced to a ledge and a Pilates ball that they will be balancing above their heads. The two players who stay balanced the longest will continue to the fourth and final round of the challenge. In the end, Rudy and Rebecca are the ones to advance.

Rebecca and Rudy meet Ali outside the White House where they find two stepping platforms. The first player to reach 206 steps will win the challenge, and immunity for the week. The 206 steps represent how many players have been on The Biggest Loser. In the end, Rebecca beats Rudy and wins immunity.

The players head to the White House garden to meet with the personal chef to the President. Bob is so happy to hear that the President and his family grow their own vegetables in the White House garden and they eat healthy, too. This makes Bob just want to squeeze the First Family if he ever meets them.

The players take all their freshly picked vegetables and head to the White House kitchen to prepare a giant salad. Bob is happy that this huge salad shows America how inexpensive it really can be to eat healthy.

Even though the players are on a field trip visiting the White House, the trainers are still going to work them out hard for their last-chance workouts. Jillian is happy that there are no longer teams, because she gets to torture all the players with her vigorous training. Jillian is also able to have a breakthrough with Tracey during this time and make her realize the show isn't a game; it's about changing your life.

The players all meet outside the Lincoln Memorial for this week's weigh-in. Ali reminds the players that as they get on the scale, they are playing as individuals and at the same time, they are inspiring a nation. Rebecca is the first to weigh in because of her immunity. She's happy to have lost four pounds and to still have immunity.

Liz and Tracey are both below the yellow line and up for elimination. Both Liz and Tracey are devastated and wondering what they could have done differently. Liz tells the players she really wants to stay, but Shay feels she's not convinced that Liz really was feeling what she was saying. Daniel wants Tracey to prove she's no longer on the ranch for the money but to really get healthy.

The players all reveal their votes at the elimination. In the end, Tracey collects the most votes and is forced to say goodbye to everybody. Tracey realizes she made some very poor decisions in the early weeks on the ranch and she regrets them now. But now she can look back and think of what an amazing time she's had on the ranch and she's now thankful to have had the experience.
