The Biggest Loser Episode 12.12 Episode 12

The Final Four are going home! Becky's in a limo pulling into Benton, Arkansas, and she's coming home as a brand new person. Antone's heading for Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tennessee, where he played all his games while attending the University of Tennessee. It symbolizes where his life started. He's back down to his NFL playing weight, and he's not sure how people see him anymore. Needless to say, he has butterflies and is hoping people are willing to accept him for who he is. John's limo is speeding for Mesa, Arizona. He knows he's changed inside and out. Now he believes in himself; he has strength, energy and desire. Vinny's cruising the streets of Nashville, and he's feeling like a champion.

Becky's limo pulls up to Benton School's athletic complex. Wearing a svelte red dress, Becky greets a cafeteria packed with cheering friends and family. Her daughter Samantha is blown away by how hot her mom looks. Antone runs up the stadium's bleachers to meet his friends and families, bringing tears of joy to his daughter Cailyn's eyes. She's so proud of her father and so happy that he's going to stay in her life. Son Dakota is pumped; his mom told him Antone has never been as skinny as he is now. The gym of the high school where John coaches is packed with people, and it erupts in cheers when he enters. Meanwhile, Trailer Choir is onstage at the club where it all started in Nashville, with Vinny's girlfriend Lori in the audience. They're playing a brand new song as Vinny's limo pulls into the alley. He walks onstage and picks up a mike and starts singing as Lori tears up in the audience.

Back in Benton, Becky talks to her students about her experience, advising them to finish what they start. John explains that the ranch taught him things he didn't know about himself, like that it's okay not to be perfect. And he discovered he was a food addict. He knows he has a long way to go. He wants to feel good and be healthy for the rest of his life. Antone was living a life of excuses, and at the ranch, he focused on getting rid of them. Vinny tells his audience that he's been heavy all his life - and always said he would start next Monday. Twelve weeks ago, he finally did start the hard work, diet and exercise.

Once the contestants get home, they each pull out a DVD given to them by Alison, meant to be watched together with their families. Each DVD is personalized with a message from the trainers and includes footage shot when the contestants first got to the ranch. Each contestant pre-recorded a message to be listened to this very day. Antone promises his family he's never going back. Becky is thrilled to see how far she's come.

Vinny sits with his mom while listening to himself talking about the abuse he suffered as a child and how she stood by and did nothing about it. After the video's over, Vinny asks his friends to step out of the room so he can talk to Lori, his mother, brother and sister. He asks his mother why she let terrible things happen. Vinny claims he's cool with the fact that his mother doesn't really have an answer; his goal is to plant a seed, in hopes of breaking down the walls they've built up over the years.

Vinny sets up a date at the Grand Ole Opry House - he and Lori will have the entire place to themselves. He takes her to a spot that contains a circle of wood from the original Opry stage, gets down on one knee and asks for her hand in marriage. Lori says, "Yes, yes, yes!" Antone takes his family to the gym for a family workout and bench presses each of his children. In the meantime, Bob hits the road, with only seven days left until the marathon. He's going to hit three cities in three days. First stop is his hometown, Nashville, to visit Vinny. Bob admits that Vinny was the one he'd been worrying about, but it seems like Vinny's locked into what he has to do. Bob immediately focuses on Vinny's older brother Shane, who's clearly struggling with his weight. Shane has five kids, and he admits he'd like to get healthy for their sake. Bob's impressed with Shane's honesty. Change is right around the corner, and it's Vinny's responsibility to help make it happen.

Dolvett drives through Mesa, Arizona, delighted to surprise John at home. He wants to check in, find out where John's head is at. John admits he lost focus for a moment. Luckily, his wife is dialed in; she's been doing his laundry and cooking his food, so he can focus 100% on training. Dolvett's concerned that John's not learning to adjust to daily life, but John insists he has a finale to win. Dolvett hopes John's not forgetting about balance. His biggest fear is that John will gain back all his weight after the finale. Meanwhile, Bob jogs up to Becky's middle school in Benton, Arkansas with a wicked smile on his face. Of the Final Four, Becky's the only one who's gone back to work. Next stop for Bob is Neyland Stadium. He gets on the PA system to let Antone know he's arrived - and they're going to have one hell of a workout using everything the stadium has to offer.

All across the country, the trainers work out with the Final Four. It's almost like Bob is in three places at once. It's not long before the Final Four are wearing their grey shirts and back in the same place Season 12 began, in the desert at the starting line of the marathon. There's a long, long way to go - 26.2 miles. Alison points at the big bus in the distance, which is loaded with 11 previously eliminated players. Once again, everyone lines up in order of the numbers on their shirts. Whoever wins today will earn a spot in the Final Three - but they'll also be competing for money. The fifth place finisher will win $2,500; fourth place, $5,000; third place, $7,500; second gets $10,000; and the winner takes home $25,000. Bonnie's pleased to attend the marathon, but she's going to sit this one out since she's having knee surgery next week. The marathon begins on a dry lakebed, travels down three miles of pavement, then along seven miles of dirt road. The final 14 miles are a loop back through the dry lakebed. The horn blasts, and the runners are off!

Courtney takes an early lead; Ramon runs alongside Jessica; and Joe, Sunny, Antone and Becky strategize a cycle of running followed by walking. Joe's having trouble with his right knee, which has no cartilage left, and his ACL is partially torn. Johnny's walking and having fun, while Patrick's running along in the middle of the pack, and Jessica's drafting behind Courtney. Jessica and Ramon trained together for a few weeks at home, and they're both feeling strong. Courtney's the first through the course loop and first to run into the trainers at a water station. Dolvett decides to join her, telling her how proud he is and encouraging her to maintain her pace. Bob joins Vinny, and Anna joins Joe and Sunny. Jennifer breaks down in tears when she spies Bob on the course. He was the first person to believe in her, and she holds him responsible for changing her life.

About halfway through the course, Jessica's stomach starts hurting, a signal for her to slow down. She tells Ramon to go ahead, and he's determined to catch up with Courtney - even though they've been running for about an hour and a half now and are only just nine miles in. Vinny's beginning to wonder how much further he'll be able to go. When Courtney starts walking, Ramon sees his opportunity to pass her. Antone notices when Joe starts lagging behind their group. The sand is having a bad effect on his injured knee. At mile 14, Ramon's still in the lead, with Courtney right behind him. Suddenly 40 mph winds kick up, blowing sand and dust everywhere. At mile 18, John spies someone ahead of him. This, he explains, is like blood in the water for a shark, and it's not long before he passes Jessica, confident that he just earned himself an extra $2,500. Seeing Vinny in pain, Dr. H meets him out on the course and pulls him out of the race, even though there's only a few miles to go.

Joe's limping badly too, so Dr. H pulls him out of the race. The goal of the show is not to hurt joints. Everyone knows Joe has the heart to finish what he started. Joe cries, even though he knows the right choice is to stop running. Coming up to mile 25, both Ramon and Courtney pick up the pace. Ramon is already cheering himself on as he passes mile 26. The trainers are waiting at the finish line with Bonnie, and Ramon runs right into Dolvett's arms. Ramon is back - and he's in the finals! Courtney's next to cross the finish line, followed by John. Dolvett runs out to meet Jessica, who makes a beeline for Ramon. Dolvett escorts fifth place finisher Patrick across the finish line, and the top five pose for pictures with their really big checks. Sunny's next in, followed by Antone and Becky who cross the line hand-in-hand. Mike's next. The sun has set when Anna runs out to meet Johnny and Debbie, who are beyond thankful to finish. Alison sends everyone home to get some sleep before the weigh-in, when the remaining two finalists will be determined.

The pressure's on for the final weigh-in on campus, and Ramon has the best seat in the house, because he's going to the finals no matter what! Tonight, there's no yellow line and no vote. There's only a red line, and the top two that land above it will be joining Ramon. Of the Final Four, Becky's weighs in first. She's lost 10 pounds since going home, and her percentage is 5.81%. Vinny's eager to weigh-in. Since leaving campus, he's lost a whopping 28 pounds at 8.92%. Vinny feels that he's proved that the trainers have provided him with the foundation that will change his life forever. He's thrilled to weigh 286 pounds - he hasn't seen the 200s since the eighth grade.

John's up next, and he'll have to lose 26 pounds to stay in the game - and he's lost 29! John cries in gratitude for making the finals. Dolvett reminds him to stay honest, and he'll never have a weight problem again. Bob calls John out for his competitiveness and tells him to own it. John owns it, claiming he wants to be The Biggest Loser, and he won't be happy until he's pulling confetti out of his hair. He'll go toe-to-toe with anyone in the entire history of the show. Since beginning the show, John's lost a total of 178 pounds, and his percentage tonight is 9.8%. This means Becky won't make the finals, but she will compete for the at-home prize. Antone's up next. In order to guarantee a spot above the red line, he'll need to lose more than 28 pounds.

Antone shatters expectations, losing 30 pounds, bringing him down to 293. Alison claims it's game on, since John threw down the gauntlet. Antone explains that he's not going to talk about what he's going to do, he's just going to do it. Antone knows this will be a battle royale among him, Ramon and John. And quite frankly, he's sick of John and ready to take him on. Antone has lost 154 pounds since the first weigh-in, and his percentage tonight is 9.29. Vinny has been eliminated, but he'll still compete for the at-home prize. Now there's only one thing left to do - weigh in live, at the finale, to determine Season 12's Biggest Loser!
