AceShowbiz - Arnold Schwarzenegger and superhero icon Stan Lee are racing to complete a prototype comic book featuring the movie star's new action man "The Governator" in time for the upcoming Comic-Con festival in San Diego, California.
The former California Governor has been turned into the fictional crime fighter by Lee, who hopes to launch the project as a comic and animated TV series by the end of 2012. But fans of the genre will get a sneak peek at the Comic-Con convention in July when Spider-Man creator Lee unveils a prototype.
Launching the project in the new issue of Entertainment Weekly, Lee reveals Schwarzenegger's "The Governator" will be a genius, who creates suits that allow him to become a virtual submarine and invisible, and the character's fleet of cars will all be eco-friendly. The animated superhero will also develop a throat spray, which will allow him to automatically speak any language.
Schwarzenegger will officially unveil his plans for "The Governator" during the annual MIPTV international festival in Cannes, France next week on March 4.
