AceShowbiz - A spokesperson for the prison holding shamed former American footballer/actor O.J. Simpson has denied reports the star has been attacked by a white supremacist behind bars. Simpson is currently serving a 15-year sentence in Nevada following his December 2008 conviction for masterminding a heist on two sports memorabilia dealers' Las Vegas hotel room in September 2007.
U.S. tabloid the National Enquirer recently reported he had been "brutally beaten" by a racist fellow inmate at the Lovelock Correctional Center, where Simpson is serving out his sentence. The publication added that inmates cheered as Simpson was savagely beaten and the star had to recover in the prison infirmary for three weeks.
