AceShowbiz - Cee-Lo Green is returning to his rap roots - he is making plans to reunite his former hip-hop group Goodie Mob. Green found fame as a member of the rap group in the 1990s, but quit in 2000 and went on to win even greater worldwide recognition in duo Gnarls Barkley and by singing solo R&B tracks.

Now the "Forget You" hitmaker and his former bandmates are stepping back into the studio to work on a new hip-hop album. He tells Britain's Daily Star, "I really want to go back to my roots and do a little rapping. It's been a fabulous experience reuniting with Goodie Mob after 15 years and seeing how we all turned out."

"Plus it's interesting to see how I've developed as a rapper after so long out of practice." Green previously reformed the group for a one-off concert in Atlanta, Georgia in 2009.
