AceShowbiz - One-time Aussie pop hunk Rick Springfield is recovering from surgery to repair his rotator cuff following a recent motorcycle accident. The "Jessie's Girl" hitmaker appeared on U.S. daytime chat show "The Talk" on Tuesday, January 25 sporting an arm sling, and explained he has been forced to take a break from music to recover after crashing his bike.
He said, "It's a rotator cuff accident, a motorcycle accident, so that's why I can't play or anything. It hurts so much, it's so painful."
But it was reported earlier this month that he was due to play a show in March. He is scheduled to play Club Regent Casino on March 2 and 3 with tickets on sale now for $78.75 and $89.25 at Ticketmaster.
