AceShowbiz - Singer and reality TV star Kelly Osbourne insists on taking a HIV test once a year to ensure she has a clean bill of health. The daughter of rocker Ozzy Osbourne was first tested for the deadly disease when she was 17 as part of her process application to obtain a green card to stay in the U.S.
And even though she practices safe sex, Osbourne has undergone testing every year since just as a precaution. Speaking on World AIDS Day on Wednesday, December 1, she tells Eonline.com's Marc Malkin, "Now, it's something that is part of my yearly check-up with m doctor."
"When people say things like, 'It's never going to happen to me' or 'I'll never get it', they're less inclined to protect themselves the way that they should. It's so simple. All you have to do is wear a condom. It's not like anyone is asking you to do something really difficult and hard."
