In response to the lawsuit that the family members of Katharina Brow has filed, the producers offered a private screening that would give them answers.

AceShowbiz - The producers behind Hilary Swank's new movie "Conviction" have reached out to the family of the murder victim portrayed in the film, offering them a private screening of the picture. The new film tells the story of Kenneth Waters, who was jailed for the murder of Katharina Brow, and released after 18 years when he was proved innocent. Swank plays Waters' sister, who trains as a lawyer to fight for her brother's freedom.
But Brow's relatives, including her daughter Melrose Alicia Brow, are disappointed they were not consulted about the film and have requested a meeting with the actress, who also acted as an executive producer, to discuss their grievances. Three of the movie's producers have now released a statement, offering Brow's family a special screening.
The statement reads, "We have the deepest compassion and sympathy for the family of Katharina Brow. (The screening) will no doubt answer many of their questions surrounding the unthinkable and horrific tragedy that befell their mother."
