AceShowbiz - Sex Pistols star Steve Jones has landed another major radio gig at Los Angeles' leading rock station KROQ. The guitarist's acclaimed Jonesy's Jukebox show will return to the airwaves on Sunday, October 10 and will air weekly between 7 P.M. and 9 P.M. local time.

The thrilled punk icon says, "They are letting me play whatever I want - and that's good for me." Ironically, Jones will take over from radio legend Rodney Bingenheimer as the star of KROQ's Sunday night schedule - Bingenheimer was one of the first DJs in America to play the Sex Pistols on radio.

Jones' irreverent Jonesy's Jukebox program was previously the top-rated show at Indie 103.1. The Sex Pistols star quit in January 2009 just before the network closed. The rocker has spent much of this year broadcasting online.
