During his first TV interview since diagnosed with throat cancer, Douglas said that he would not be able to attend some international events to support the film.

AceShowbiz - Michael Douglas has accepted he will have to skip promotion duties for the upcoming "Wall Street" sequel as he continues to battle throat cancer. The 65 year old is scheduled for weeks of intensive chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment after doctors discovered a tumor in his throat last month.
Following the diagnosis, movie bosses were adamant Douglas would be able to fulfill his commitments ahead of the release of "Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps" on September 24. But the acting legend, who has just finished his first week of treatment, has confirmed he will have to pull out of some international events.
He tells America's "Late Show with David Letterman", "It is going to cut into the foreign promotional tour for Wall Street to say the least."
On the same occasion, the actor revealed the his chemotherapy process, saying "I just finished my first week of radiation and chemo. It's an eight week struggle. I've started the regiment already. The things that change... the chemotherapy... in terms of dealing with the nausea. It knocks you out really hard."
