AceShowbiz - George Clooney's rep has laughed off reports he has proposed to his girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis after she was spotted wearing a sparking accessory on her ring finger while holidaying in Italy. The "Ocean's Eleven" star, who has been dating the Italian model/TV presenter since summer 2009, sparked rumors he was heading to the altar this weekend when Canalis was snapped smiling while waving her left hand in the air, appearing to show off her new piece of jewelery.
But Clooney's publicist has shot down the claims, telling TMZ the "jewellery" was simply a napkin ring the beauty had been playing around with."
Before dating Elisabetta Canalis in 2009, George Clooney was married to Talia Balsam from 1989 to 1993. He later had an on/off relationship with British model Lisa Snowdon, while in 2007, the actor dated Sarah Larson, but the two broke-up in May 2008.
