AceShowbiz - Incarcerated rapper Lil Wayne is facing financial woes behind bars - he allegedly owes more than $1.13 million in unpaid taxes to the U.S. government. According to documents filed in Dade County Florida Circuit Court on June 3, the "Lollipop" hitmaker owes income taxes from 2004, 2005 and 2007.
This is the second monster tax problem for Lil Wayne, real name real name Dwayne Carter, Jr. - the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) previously filed a $977,840 tax lien against the rapper in 2008, which he later paid. Wayne is expected to walk free from jail in November, after serving eight months of his year-long gun possession sentence in New York's Rikers Island prison.
Drake, who recently visited Wayne, shared, "He kept looking through the window. He'd look up at the window almost like he's looking right through it. It's frosted, so you can't see out. I was like, 'Why does he keep staring through the window? There's nothing out there.' To him, there's a whole world moving out there that he hasn't seen for so long."
