AceShowbiz - "Twilight" star Elizabeth Reaser is hoping to take the summer off and get a tan - because she's sick of being pale and interesting for the vampire film franchise. The actress, who plays Cullen family matriarch Esme in the "Twilight" movies, admits she's has been avoiding beaches and sunny days for the past three years - but now she's been given a break from playing the undead.

She says, "I'd like to maybe get a bit of color, get some sun... I've been wearing SPF 85 for, like, three years now." Reaser insists there's no 'stay-pale' clause in her contract - but it's perfectly clear the producers of the film franchise want their vampires to stay out of the sun.

She adds, "It's sort of unspoken, but it's understood. I remember Nikki (Reed) was in Greece, frolicking in the ocean and Wyck Godfrey, the producer, saw a picture of it on the Internet and gave her a call: 'Nikki, I see you in the sun'."
