Dion Mial, who is chosen to be the executor of the late actor's estate, reveals that the star only wants 'those who have no financial ties' to him attend his funeral.

AceShowbiz - Gary Coleman planned to ban anyone with a financial interest in his estate from attending his funeral, he only wanted friends who "really cared" for him to be present at the ceremony. The "Diff'rent Strokes" star died late in May after suffering a brain haemorrhage, and his will was filed at 4th District Court in Provo, Utah on Tuesday, June 8.
The documents named his former manager Dion Mial as the executor of his estate and set out his wishes for his funeral. Coleman didn't with anyone with "financial ties" to him to attend, and he also expressed his wish to keep the memorial service private from the press. He asked for his remains to be cremated.
The papers state, "(The funeral will be open to) those who have no financial ties to me and who can look each other in the eyes and say they really cared personally for Gary Coleman. I direct my personal representative to permit no members of the press to be present at my wake or funeral."
Plans for Coleman's memorial service were put on hold last week after his ex-wife Shannon Price and his estranged parents disagreed on the details. Price is said to have made plans for her former partner to be laid to rest in Utah, while the Colemans wanted the body to be taken back to the star's native Illinois.
