AceShowbiz - Mariah Carey's husband Nick Cannon has confirmed the couple is expecting a new addition to their family - their pet dog is pregnant. The actor/rapper and his superstar wife are rumored to be expecting their first child together after they were spotted leaving a fertility clinic in Los Angeles earlier this month.

Carey further fueled the reports by mysteriously dropping out of Tyler Perry's next movie, "For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf" earlier this week. Her representative revealed the decision was based on medical reasons, saying: "She is not doing the movie because her doctor advised her not to. More than that I cannot comment further."

And Cannon has failed to put a stop to the baby speculation by laughing off questions about Carey's reported condition and turning the attention to another member of their family. When asked by E! News if Carey was pregnant, he laughed, "That's news to me!"

He then added, "I do want to make a big announcement... Russell Terrier puppy Zha Zha is pregnant again!"
