AceShowbiz - Nicola Roberts has sparked fresh concern British pop stars Girls Aloud will split this year - after confirming none of the singers have spoken to bandmate Nadine Coyle since September 2009. The U.K.'s biggest girl group has taken a 12-month hiatus to concentrate on individual projects, with Coyle working on solo material in Los Angeles.
The Irish beauty recently dismissed rumors of a rift between her and her fellow bandmates, after Sarah Harding claimed she was shocked Coyle hadn't been in contact when she returned to the U.K. in March.
But Roberts has further fueled speculation of an imminent split after revealing Coyle has failed to communicate with any of her colleagues since they performed a concert with Coldplay last autumn. She tells Britain's Hello! magazine, "If I'm really honest, we haven't spoken to Nadine since we did the Coldplay gig at Wembley in September. I talked to the other girls about it on Monday and no, none of us have heard from her."
