Pet Shop Boys Surprise Fan With Private Gig
Music

Celebrating the Brit Awards' 30th anniversary, Pet Shop Boys decide to surprise their fan by singing at her home in Twickenham, England.

AceShowbiz - British dance duo Pet Shop Boys have played a special one-off concert to celebrate the Brit Awards' 30th anniversary - performing in a fan's living room. Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe were asked to play a set to honor the 30th year of the prestigious U.K. music event, at which they won an outstanding achievement honor in 2009.

And they decided to surprise fan Lorraine Sands with an intimate gig at her home in Twickenham, England. Tennant said, "It's amazing how much you can do in such a relatively small space compared with a stage. That was the whole point of it, to recreate an arena production, or elements of it anyway, in the intimate environment of a living room."

Sands was chosen at random after entering a contest. The footage will be shown during the awards show in London on February 16.
