AceShowbiz - A new trailer has been released for Ali G: Who Iz I?, the comedy that marks Sacha Baron Cohen's directorial debut and brings his iconic character Ali G back to the screen after two decades.
The film is presented by Amazon MGM Studios, a Four By Two Films production in association with Working Title Films. It is set to be released in theaters on October 23, 2026, for one weekend only.

According to the official synopsis, after twenty years spent "chillin', tokin' and bonin'", Ali G is shocked to discover that his long-term girlfriend, Julie, is 8 months pregnant. Faced with an extra mouth to feed, he gets off his batty and heads to America to reclaim his former glory, but soon encounters adversaries who will ultimately threaten his and his child's very existence.
Cohen leads the cast and also directs, with Morgana Robinson starring alongside him. The film is billed as a comedy.

The trailer release was accompanied by a breaking news item stating that Ali G has been slammed by a Kazakhstan Ministry of Information spokesman, Borat Sagdiyev.
The character of Ali G first rose to prominence in the late 1990s and early 2000s, and this new film represents his return to theaters after a long absence. The October 23 release date places the film in a limited theatrical window of just one weekend.
