AceShowbiz - Jason Statham's latest action-thriller, Mutiny, is now available on Premium Digital and Premium Video on Demand following its September 8 release from Lionsgate.

The film stars Statham as Cole Reed, a former Royal Marine commando who witnesses his billionaire boss's murder and is framed for the crime. Reed boards a cargo ship as a stowaway in search of answers, and as the ship's crew of former mercenaries closes in, he launches a one-man crusade to avenge his boss's death, only to uncover an international conspiracy.

Directed by Jean-François Richet, Mutiny was written by Lindsay Michel and J.P. Davis. The film is produced by Marc Butan and Statham.

Alongside Statham, the cast includes Annabelle Wallis, Roland Møller, and Adrian Lester. Wallis is known for her roles in Annabelle and Malignant, as well as the TV series Peaky Blinders. Møller has appeared in Atomic Blonde and The Commuter, while Lester is recognized for his work in The Day After Tomorrow and the TV series The Sandman.

Statham's previous credits include The Beekeeper, the The Expendables franchise, and the Fast & Furious franchise. Richet previously directed the action film Plane.

The film is rated R for strong/bloody violence and language, with a run time of 96 minutes.

On September 8, Mutiny became available to rent via Premium Video on Demand for a 48-hour period and to buy via Premium Electronic Sell Thru on participating digital platforms where movies are purchased, including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Fandango, Google TV, and YouTube.
