AceShowbiz - Drake’s album ICEMAN has maintained its grip on the top spot of the Billboard 200 chart for a third consecutive week, underscoring the rapper’s continued dominance in the music industry.
The album achieved approximately 171,000 equivalent album units during its latest tracking week, largely fueled by streaming activity, accumulating over 174 million on-demand streams. This marks ICEMAN as Drake’s first album since 2021’s Certified Lover Boy to spend three or more weeks at number one. Out of his 15 albums that have reached number one, only five—including ICEMAN—have held the top spot for at least three weeks. His 2016 album Views remains his longest-running number one with 13 weeks at the summit.
Drake shared on his YouTube channel reflections on the album’s success and expressed gratitude for the fan support that has propelled ICEMAN to such a sustained chart performance. He also hinted at the significance of this milestone in his ongoing career trajectory.
Drake, known for his breakthrough single “Best I Ever Had” and acclaimed for his dual career as a rapper and actor, has achieved multiple chart feats this year. Alongside the strong showing of ICEMAN, he recently became the first artist to simultaneously occupy the top three positions on the Billboard 200 with ICEMAN, HABIBTI, and MAID OF HONOUR. Additionally, he is tied with Adele for ninth place in total weeks at number one on the Billboard 200, each with 40 weeks.
This sustained success with ICEMAN highlights Drake’s enduring popularity and ability to consistently deliver chart-topping projects. If ICEMAN secures a fourth week at the summit, it will become the longest-running number one album of 2026 to date, further cementing his position as a dominant force in contemporary music.
