AceShowbiz - Don Toliver has unveiled a gripping new music video for his track "E85," showcasing a high-energy police chase and a daring helicopter rescue. The video dropped on Wednesday, May 13, shortly after Toliver teased it during his Rolling Loud Orlando performance.

Directed by Shadrinsky, the clip features Don Toliver behind the wheel of a sleek Porsche 918, speeding down the highway as multiple police vehicles pursue him aggressively. The chase evokes the intensity of a high-level pursuit reminiscent of a six-star wanted level in the Grand Theft Auto video game series.

The Houston native is eventually captured and taken into custody, with much of the footage presented from the perspective of a police officer’s bodycam. The situation escalates when Don Toliver struggles with the officers during interrogation and manages to seize one of their firearms amid the altercation. He then makes a desperate dash to the rooftop of the police station.

In a cinematic twist, Kali Uchis, who is also Don Toliver’s real-life partner, arrives in a helicopter to extract him from the rooftop. The scene shows her skillfully landing the chopper on the building’s top and pulling Toliver to safety as he clings to the helicopter’s skids, completing the bold escape.

The song "E85" currently holds the No. 35 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and has maintained a position within the top 40 since its release in January as the opening track of Toliver’s album Octane.

Earlier, on May 8, fans speculated that Don Toliver was being detained by police in Florida after clips from the video circulated on social media. However, he clarified the rumors by showing portions of the music video during his headlining set that night at Rolling Loud Orlando.

Don Toliver is actively touring in support of his Octane album. His tour stopped in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on May 12, and is set to continue with a hometown show at Houston’s Toyota Center on May 14.

The Octane album, released in January, marked a significant milestone for Don Toliver, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 162,000 total album-equivalent units according to Luminate.
