The motion details multiple violations, including failing to comply with electronic monitoring rules and performing at concerts despite clear restrictions. BBE AJ was arrested on April 1, charged with aggravated assault with a firearm and illegal use of weapons related to an incident on March 22 where he reportedly fired 15 rounds at a vehicle.

His release was secured with a $40,000 bond that imposed strict conditions. One key requirement was electronic monitoring through Shadow Track, a mobile app designed for daily check-ins and location reporting. However, according to reports from WBRZ, BBE AJ missed mandatory location notifications on May 5, May 9, and May 10. This failure left authorities unaware of his whereabouts during those times.

Prosecutors have also pointed to social media evidence showing the rapper actively performing at various events, contradicting his bond restrictions. His Instagram posts display him dancing during a Cinco de Mayo celebration on May 6 and appearing in promotional material for Boosie Bash held at the Cajun Dome in Lafayette on May 9. Additionally, posts about a New York concert on May 11 further highlight his disregard for the monitoring conditions.

Complicating his case is a video featuring BBE AJ alongside rapper Sexyy Red, which prosecutors say undermines his compliance claims. These social media activities form a significant part of the prosecution’s argument that BBE AJ has been deliberately violating court-ordered terms.

While the bond did not explicitly restrict out-of-state travel, prosecutors argue that the rapper’s consistent pattern of noncompliance demonstrates a clear intention to ignore court mandates. The state is therefore requesting either a full bond revocation or a considerable increase in bond amount. They also ask for enhanced monitoring measures, including a functioning tracking device and a mandatory curfew.
