AceShowbiz - The upcoming Primavera Sound festivals in 2026 are set to return to Buenos Aires, Argentina, and São Paulo, Brazil, with an impressive lineup featuring some of the biggest names in music. The two events will showcase headlining performances by Gorillaz, The Strokes, FKA Twigs, and Lily Allen, who will present her West End Girl album in full.
Primavera Sound originally began in Barcelona and this year’s edition in Madrid is scheduled from June 3-7. The Buenos Aires and São Paulo offshoot festivals are planned for November 28-29 and December 5-6, respectively. These South American editions continue to build on the success of previous events held in 2022 and 2023.
While the Buenos Aires venue has yet to be announced, it is confirmed that the São Paulo festival will again be hosted at the Interlagos Circuit, the same location as the 2023 festival. Ticket presales for the Buenos Aires event opened on May 12 for BBVA customers, with general sales following once the presale sells out. Meanwhile, tickets for the São Paulo show will be available soon through the Ingresse platform.
In addition to the headliners, a diverse roster of artists will perform at both Buenos Aires and São Paulo events. This includes Yung Lean, CMAT, Courtney Barnett, underscores, Danny L Harle, Nation of Language, Juana Molina, Santi Motorizado, Cara Delevingne, Smerz, Marilina Bertoldi, Mannequin Pussy, Model/Actriz, Juliana Gattas, and more.
The 2026 Primavera Sound events in South America reflect the festival’s continued expansion and commitment to bringing a wide spectrum of contemporary music to diverse audiences. The festivals are known for blending genres and spotlighting both international and local artists.
Meanwhile, the 2026 Primavera Sound Barcelona lineup promises a star-studded summer event, featuring The Cure, Doja Cat, Gorillaz, The xx, Bad Gyal, Massive Attack, Mac DeMarco, Blood Orange, Addison Rae, Skrillex, PinkPantheress, Role Model, My Bloody Valentine, Dijon, Little Simz, Carl Cox, Geese, and Father John Misty, among many others.
