AceShowbiz - The Arre Festival, a major event celebrating regional Mexican music, is set to return to its original location in Mexico City for 2026. After being hosted in Monterrey in 2025, the festival will once again take place at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez on September 5 and 6.

Leading the lineup are Alejandro Fernández and Banda MS, who will headline the event organized by Ocesa, now officially named Arre Pepsi Black. This marks a significant return to the venue where the festival was first established and gained notable traction during its initial editions.

The 2026 festival will showcase a diverse range of regional Mexican music styles, including mariachi, banda, norteño, tumbados, and tropical genres. Alongside the headliners, audiences can expect performances by prominent artists such as Los Tucanes de Tijuana, Calle 24, Clave Especial, Eslabón Armado, Gabito Ballesteros, Grupo Cañaveral, Los Dos Carnales, Los Plebes del Rancho de Ariel Camacho, and Víctor Mendivil. These performers represent various generations of regional Mexican music talent, with additional artists to be announced closer to the event.

Arre Festival began in 2023 and quickly established itself as a major cultural event, attracting over 70,000 attendees in its debut year. This impressive turnout has been matched in subsequent editions, highlighting the growing popularity and significance of regional Mexican music both nationally and internationally.

Supporting this upward trend, data from the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) shows that Mexico entered the top 10 global music markets for the first time in 2024. This achievement was fueled by a 15.6% increase in recorded music revenue, as detailed in the IFPI's Global Music Report 2025.

Tickets for the 2026 Arre Festival will become available on May 13 through Ticketmaster.com.mx, offering fans the opportunity to secure their spots for what promises to be a vibrant celebration of Mexico’s rich musical heritage.
