AceShowbiz - The collaboration between Colson Baker, known as mgk, and Fred Durst has scored a major success with their single Fix Ur Face, which climbed to No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Hard Rock Songs chart dated May 9. This marks a rapid rise from the No. 4 position it held in only its second week on the ranking.
According to data compiled by Luminate, during its first full week of tracking ending April 30, Fix Ur Face garnered 1.8 million chart-eligible streams, 123,000 radio audience impressions, and 1,000 sales in the United States. The single was released on April 21 and has quickly gained momentum across multiple platforms.
This achievement represents mgk's first chart-topping single on the Hot Hard Rock Songs list, which has been active since June 2020. Previously, mgk reached No. 4 with "Your Name Forever" in April 2025, marking his second appearance on this chart.
Fred Durst has appeared once before on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart as a featured artist on HARDY's "Soul4Sale," which peaked at No. 14 in 2024. His band, Limp Bizkit, achieved two No. 1 hits last year with "Making Love to Morgan Wallen" and "Break Stuff." Notably, "Break Stuff" remained at the top for four weeks following the passing of the group’s bassist Sam Rivers in October.
Alongside its Hot Hard Rock Songs success, Fix Ur Face debuted at No. 48 on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart and is also listed as bubbling under on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. Currently, the track stands as a standalone single.
mgk, whose real name is Colson Baker, released his latest album Lost Americana in 2025. Enhancing his visibility in the current tracking period, he appeared on the newest episode of Bear Grylls Is Running Wild, which aired May 5 on FOX. He is also preparing for the next leg of his Lost Americana Tour, beginning May 15 in Wheatland, California, with Wiz Khalifa as his touring partner.
Limp Bizkit’s most recent studio album, Still Sucks, came out in 2021. Their track "Making Love to Morgan Wallen" was released as part of the soundtrack for the video game Battlefield 6.
