The track also claimed the top spot on the Hot Latin Pop Songs chart, marking a significant milestone for both artists.

This release followed the song’s debut during Karol G’s headlining performance at Weekend 1 of Coachella, where it was introduced to a massive audience. The song’s entry at No. 6 represents Karol G’s 32nd top 10 on the Hot Latin Songs chart, placing her just behind Shakira, who holds 37 top 10 hits. For Greg Gonzalez, this marks his first solo appearance on any Billboard chart.

Reflecting on the collaboration, Gonzalez shared with Billboard, “When Karol first showed me ‘Después De Ti’ I was struck by the heartbreak and the beauty of it, the song felt like medicine.” He added that fans have expressed how much the song resonates with them, confirming its emotional impact.

The song’s chart success is primarily driven by streaming. According to Luminate, Después De Ti accumulated 3.8 million official streams in the United States during the tracking week ending April 30. This streaming performance secured the song’s No. 6 debut on the Latin Streaming Songs chart. In addition, the track sold 1,000 downloads, earning it a No. 1 debut on the Latin Digital Song Sales chart.

While Karol G continues to solidify her dominance with multiple top 10 hits, Gonzalez achieves a personal milestone. His band, Cigarettes After Sex, last reached the top 10 with their third studio album, X’s, which debuted at No. 6 on the Top Latin Albums chart and at No. 5 on the Vinyl Albums chart in July 2024.

Después De Ti also debuted at No. 1 on the Hot Latin Pop Songs chart, marking Karol G’s third chart-topper and Gonzalez’s first No. 1 on any Billboard chart as a solo artist.

On the Hot Latin Songs chart, Después De Ti joins three other Karol G hits currently charting. “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido” remains steady at No. 5 for its second week after dominating the chart for 14 consecutive weeks in 2024. Meanwhile, “Latina Foreva” climbs from No. 10 to No. 9, and “Ivonny Bonita” re-enters the chart at No. 38.

Additionally, the collaboration marks Gonzalez’s first appearance on the overall Billboard Hot 100, where the song debuted at No. 96.
