But the problem is there are barriers for people to have entry to. There's a thing called an aggregator that you usually have to go through, or a studio if you're big enough for that. And I said, 'I have this success on this movie. It's kind of like a moment here. Maybe we can use it to capitalize on this, and you can make me an aggregator, right? I can do the aggregation.'"

Fortunately, talks are ongoing between Markiplier and YouTube to allow him to become an aggregator himself. This would not only facilitate the digital release of Iron Lung but could also pave the way for other independent filmmakers to distribute and monetize their work on the platform more effectively.
