AceShowbiz - Netflix’s The Night Agent is expanding its cast for Season 4 with the addition of Titus Welliver, known for his role on Bosch. Welliver will portray a special Department of Justice prosecutor named Duval, according to Deadline. While specific character details remain under wraps, his involvement adds notable star power to the hit espionage series.

Joining Welliver in the upcoming season are Trevante Rhodes ("Mike") as Dom, the new partner of lead character Peter Sutherland; Li Jun Li ("Sinners") as Min, Dom’s wife; and Elizabeth Lail ("YOU") as Zoe, Peter’s ex-fiancée. The show centers on Peter Sutherland, a low-level FBI agent played by Gabriel Basso, who becomes embroiled in a complex web of international intrigue. Season 3 of The Night Agent premiered on Netflix in February and continues to build momentum.

Titus Welliver is widely recognized for his portrayal of LAPD detective Harry Bosch on Prime Video’s crime drama Bosch, which ran for seven seasons. He later reprised the role in its spin-off Bosch: Legacy, lasting an additional three seasons. Welliver’s extensive TV credits also include roles on Deadwood, Sons of Anarchy, and The Good Wife.

In other casting developments, Benedict Cumberbatch has signed on to star in and executive-produce the upcoming heist thriller White Smoke, as reported by Deadline. The series, which is currently without a network, revolves around a group of cunning con artists planning to steal some of the Vatican’s most priceless treasures during a papal conclave.

Sophia Bush ("One Tree Hill") is set to join the Hulu drama Count My Lies, alongside Shailene Woodley, Lindsay Lohan, and Kit Harington. She will play Allison, a fashionable Tribeca architect and mother, adding depth to the ensemble cast.

Luke Kleintank ("FBI: International") will star opposite Stephen Fry in the Fox drama The Interrogator. Kleintank’s character Voss is one of the analyst-advisors assisting Fry’s former MI6 agent Conrad Henry as he tackles the world’s most dangerous criminals.

On the revival front, Dexter: Resurrection has promoted Desmond Harrington to series regular for its upcoming second season. Harrington originally appeared as Joey Quinn in Season 3 of the original Dexter and remained a regular through its eighth and final season.

Netflix’s limited series I Will Find You has added Vas Saranga ("The Handmaid’s Tale") to its cast. Saranga will portray Agent Dev Chopra, a member of the FBI Fugitive Task Force, contributing to the show’s intense procedural drama.

Finally, music icon Shania Twain has been announced as the host of the 61st Academy of Country Music Awards, scheduled to air Sunday, May 17 on Prime Video. This high-profile event promises to bring country music’s biggest stars to the forefront under Twain’s guidance.
