AceShowbiz - Lil Tjay is currently shifting his approach following the highly publicized shooting incident involving Offset.
The Bronx rapper, who faced a brief arrest related to the April 6 altercation, has since adopted a more cautious stance, refraining from public comments after his initial outspoken accusations and remarks.
"I'm just as confused as everyone else about that," Lil Tjay told Billboard, adding that his lawyer advised him to avoid discussing the matter extensively.
Prior to this change, Lil Tjay openly spoke about the events, even labeling the Migos rapper as a "rat." He recalled telling reporters, "The last thing I see was Offset looking at me like this: 'Yo, that n-a shot me, that n-a shot me!'" He further insisted, "N-a is a rat, n-a. ... I didn't do no damn fighting. Did I shoot? That s-t is crazy. I will smack the s-t out of Offset. He would never play like that with me in his life. Ask Offset."
Despite the heated exchanges, Lil Tjay's legal team clarified that he was not involved in the shooting and emphasized that he has not been charged. They urged the public to avoid jumping to conclusions about his role in the incident.
Currently free after his arrest connected to the fight that occurred shortly before Offset was shot in Florida, Lil Tjay is focusing on his music career. He has announced plans to release a new album soon.
The tension between Lil Tjay and Offset remains unresolved, causing concern among fans about potential future encounters between the two rappers.
