AceShowbiz - In his first interview since being shot earlier this month, Offset revealed he is embracing a "gladiator mentality" to stay strong and focused on recovery.

The interview, featured on The Creator's Inc. podcast and recorded a week after the April 6 incident, highlights Offset's determination despite the serious injury he sustained. He was shot in the hip outside the Seminole Hard Rock Resort and Casino in South Florida.

A few days following the shooting, Offset posted a heartfelt message on social media expressing gratitude to his supporters and outlining his focus moving forward.

He wrote, "Thank you to everyone who's checked in on me and showed me love! I'm good....but I'm planning to be better! I'm focused on my family, my recovery, and getting back to the music... realizing that life is made up of quiet wins and loud losses. Life's a gamble and I'm still playing to win."
