In March, Love described Geese frontman Cameron Winter as sounding like "a 600-year-old man ... in the best way," likening the band’s style to a fusion of Daniel Johnston and the Rolling Stones. She also commented on the band's fanbase, noting their "gatekeeping elder millennial troll fans" and humorously comparing the experience to trying to impress Sonic Youth back in 1990. She playfully asserted her status as a "cool old lady who likes a band" and asked fans to ease up on the criticism.
