AceShowbiz - Your Friends & Neighbors is returning for its second season on Apple TV+, and the new trailer reveals a compelling dynamic between Jon Hamm and James Marsden. Apple TV+ released the trailer on Thursday, ahead of the season premiere on Friday, April 3, 2026.
The season will consist of 10 episodes, but viewers will get just one episode on the premiere date. Subsequent episodes will be released weekly over the following nine weeks, with the season finale scheduled for Friday, June 5.
Already renewed for a third season, Your Friends & Neighbors continues to explore the complex life of Andrew "Coop" Cooper, played by Hamm. In season two, Coop deepens his involvement as an unlikely suburban thief. However, the arrival of a new neighbor, portrayed by Marsden, threatens to unravel Coop’s carefully guarded secrets and endanger his family.
The season two logline hints at escalating tension: Coop "doubles down on his life as an unlikely suburban thief, until the arrival of a new neighbor threatens to expose his secrets and place his family at risk." The trailer opens and closes with Coop’s reflective voiceover: "I was playing the long game. And that game was just getting started."
Season one depicted Coop's downfall, where he lost his hedge fund manager job, family, and social standing due to a murder charge. Though he was innocent of that crime, his innocence did not extend to other illegal activities. This precarious position sets the stage for the second season’s drama.
Returning cast members include Amanda Peet, Olivia Munn, Hoon Lee, Mark Tallman, Lena Hall, Aimee Carrero, Eunice Bae, Isabel Gravitt, and Donovan Colan. The series is created by Jonathan Tropper, who also serves as an executive producer alongside Hamm, Stephanie Laing, Connie Tavel, Craig Gillespie, Jamie Rosengard, and Lori Keith Douglas. Tropper and Laing share directing responsibilities for the season.
The trailer reflects Coop’s complicated but hopeful mindset, with his narration stating, "Life was complicated. But in spite of everything, I was making it work. And for the first time in a while, the future seemed … promising." Yet the arrival of Marsden’s character suggests that this optimism may be short-lived.
Fans can watch the season two trailer on Apple TV+’s official YouTube channel and prepare for the unfolding tension and intrigue as Your Friends & Neighbors returns next spring.
