AceShowbiz - K-pop sensation aespa is preparing for an exciting period with the announcement of their second studio album, LEMONADE, set to release on May 29 at 1 p.m. KST (midnight ET). This release marks a significant milestone for the group as they embark on their most extensive tour yet.
The upcoming album is aespa's first full-length project in two years, following their 2024 debut album Armageddon, which reached No. 25 on the Billboard 200. That album secured their fifth consecutive top 40 spot on the chart. Additionally, their October 2024 EP's title track, "Whiplash," became their first top 10 hit on the Billboard Global 200, peaking at No. 8.
Earlier in 2025, aespa earned the prestigious Group of the Year award at Billboard Women in Music 2025, underscoring their rising prominence in the industry. The announcement of LEMONADE comes alongside plans for an ambitious world tour titled "2026-27 aespa LIVE TOUR - SYNK : ____æ____," with the full tour title yet to be revealed.
This will be aespa's fourth world tour and follows closely on the heels of their SYNK : aeXIS LINE tour, which is scheduled to conclude at Tokyo Dome on April 26, 2026. The new tour kicks off with two shows in Seoul in August before heading to Taipei.
After Asia, aespa will travel to Latin America, performing in São Paulo, Santiago, San Miguel, and Mexico City. The North American leg follows with stops in Hamilton, Elmont, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Miami, Dallas, Los Angeles, Oakland, Seattle, and Vancouver.
The tour then moves to Europe in January 2027, beginning in Manchester and wrapping up in Paris on February 2. The nine-city European run also includes London, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Berlin, Milan, and Barcelona.
