AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner have reportedly demanded $7 million from Ray J after accusing him of violating a confidential 2023 settlement related to the infamous sex tape involving Kim Kardashian.

Legal documents obtained by TMZ reveal that Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner claimed Ray J breached the nondisclosure agreement by publicly discussing the tape and making statements that went against the terms of their settlement. The agreement stipulated that Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner would pay Ray J $6 million over several years, with payments scheduled through 2026.

In a letter dated May 2025, the legal team representing Kardashian and Jenner demanded that Ray J return the $5 million he had already been paid. Additionally, they sought $1 million each for both Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner, bringing the total demand to $7 million.

The attorneys argued that Ray J violated the settlement by continuing to discuss the tape publicly, including during a livestream later that year. Due to this alleged breach, Kardashian and Jenner contend they are no longer obligated to make the final $1 million payment scheduled for 2026.

This dispute came to light after a Los Angeles judge denied the request by Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner to keep the settlement details sealed. Their legal team had maintained that the agreement involved "highly sensitive matters" and both parties wished to "protect their families from public disclosure."

However, the judge ruled in favor of Ray J, ordering the unredacted settlement agreement to be made public, exposing the terms and the ongoing legal battle between the parties.
