After hearing news that Offset had been hospitalized following a shooting on April 6 near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, Ebro Darden reached out to check on him. He confirmed that Offset is doing fine but reminded listeners that the rapper still owes him the $5,000 from their wager.

"He owes me $5,000," Ebro said with a blend of concern and lightheartedness. He added that although he was ready to pay Offset the amount, the rapper has yet to settle up. Despite this, Ebro emphasized that the money is not a major issue for him, explaining, "I’ve talked to him a thousand times since then and never jammed him about $5,000. I’m not going to chase you around. Five grand is not a big deal to me."

The discussion also touched on Offset’s reported gambling habits. The show referenced claims by rapper Lil Tjay, who said he lent Offset $10,000 years ago and never got it back, which allegedly contributed to a casino altercation. Ebro added his own experience to the mix, confirming that Offset owes him money as well.

Despite these unpaid debts, Ebro Darden made it clear that there is no bad blood between them. He stressed, "It wasn’t a loan, we made a bet. Me and Offset are in a good enough situation where I don’t need to stress."

Addressing rumors circulating online, Ebro dismissed speculation that gambling debts might have played a role in the shooting incident. He questioned, "Why are we jumping all the way to gambling? We don’t know if they’re going at each other. We don’t know anything."

Adding to the ongoing chatter about unpaid debts, former NFL player Dez Bryant has also claimed that Offset owes him $8,000. The situation highlights a pattern of financial disputes involving the rapper, though none appear to have caused serious personal conflicts at this time.
