AceShowbiz - Green Day is set to launch their own dedicated channel on SiriusXM, offering fans an immersive experience into the band's music and influences. The channel, titled Green Day's Idiot Nation, was announced by SiriusXM on Wednesday, April 15, and will officially debut on April 20.

The channel is a collaboration between the band’s members—Billie Joe Armstrong (singer/guitarist), Mike Dirnt (bassist), and Tré Cool (drummer)—who developed the concept from their deep passion for punk rock music. In a joint statement, the group expressed excitement about the channel's launch, saying it will showcase the songs that inspired them to pick up instruments and pursue music careers.

"We're absolutely stoked to have our very own channel on SiriusXM to share all the songs we love. They added that the channel will include a variety of content, such as “old Green Day demos, live tracks, deep cuts,” and stories behind the music, inviting fans to join them and “let it rip!”

Subscribers will be able to listen to Green Day's Idiot Nation on SiriusXM channel 314 and through the SiriusXM app. The channel will feature a curated selection of music handpicked by the band, including their earliest demos, covers, live performances, and greatest hits. Additionally, it will highlight punk classics spanning multiple generations—from pioneering acts to emerging bands that continue to shape the genre.

Alongside the music, Green Day will share personal anecdotes from their touring and recording experiences. They will also provide insights into the artists and songs that have influenced their own musical journey, giving listeners a behind-the-scenes look at the band’s story.

Adding to the channel’s programming, Tré Cool will host a monthly show called “Ground Support.” In this series, he will discuss bands Green Day have toured with, whether as headliners or fans, sharing exclusive stories and music from those collaborations.

This distinguished group includes Kenny Chesney, Willie Nelson, Kelly Clarkson, Pitbull, Eminem, Bob Marley, Diplo, The Beatles, Pearl Jam, Phish, Grateful Dead, Frank Sinatra, and Bruce Springsteen.
