According to The Telegraph, Harry responded, “However you like,” while Meghan added, “Call me Meg?” This indicated their relaxed stance on royal titles following their decision to step back from senior royal duties in 2020.

Hospital staff at the Royal Children’s Hospital were also informed by the couple’s aides that addressing them as “Harry and Meghan” was perfectly acceptable. This marks a shift from traditional royal protocol, where male royals are addressed as “Your Royal Highness” followed by “Sir,” and female royals as “Your Royal Highness” then “Ma’am.” Since stepping back, the couple no longer uses the HRH titles.

Alongside their public engagements, the Sussexes’ office confirmed that their four-day trip would emphasize mental health, community resilience, and support for veterans and their families, with private meetings and special projects included. They will also participate in private commercial events separate from public appearances.

A highlight of the visit will be Meghan Markle’s participation in a “girls’ weekend” wellness retreat in Sydney. Hosted by the Her Best Life podcast, the event is set at the five-star InterContinental Coogee Beach hotel. Tickets are priced at £1,400, with VIP options costing £1,670. The VIP package includes a group photo with the duchess.

Despite initial claims that the retreat had sold out, it has emerged that some tickets remain available. The Her Best Life podcast’s Instagram page recently announced “final last minute availability,” contradicting earlier announcements of a full sell-out. Organizers revealed that the hotel had released additional rooms, encouraging interested guests to inquire via direct message.

The exclusive event, capped at 300 guests, requires attendees to obtain security clearance prior to attending. Mobile phone use will be strictly prohibited during the retreat to maintain privacy and exclusivity.

The retreat’s agenda promises a luxurious and empowering weekend for women, designed to foster reconnection, relaxation, and fun. Activities will include yoga classes, panel discussions, a fireside chat with Meghan Markle, and a disco party.
