AceShowbiz - Fresh from a lively and entertaining appearance on Saturday Night Live, Jack White took the stage at Coachella 2026 for a last-minute, electrifying performance. This surprise set continues the festival’s trend of booking veteran superstar acts in unexpected, early-day time slots. Known for his energetic shows, White appeared clad in his signature all-black attire, starting the set with dark sunglasses that he quickly discarded as he launched into a rapid instrumental.
The performance kicked off with the powerful track “That’s How I’m Feeling” from his 2024 album No Name, immediately engaging the desert crowd. Any fans worried that White might ignore his classic hits quickly got their concerns eased as he and his four-piece band plunged into “Fell in Love With a Girl,” the breakthrough White Stripes hit from White Blood Cells. This was swiftly followed by another White Stripes staple, “Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground,” featuring White shredding remarkable guitar solos that energized the audience between every punchy riff.
The setlist also included the two new songs White performed on SNL—“G.O.D. and the Broken Bones” and “Derecho Demonico,” which are presumably from an upcoming album yet to be announced. In addition, the band performed “Steady, as She Goes,” a popular track from the Raconteurs, one of White’s other well-known projects.
More than just the songs, the true highlight of the Coachella tent was witnessing one of rock’s greatest guitar heroes deliver an intense, passionate performance. White combined spontaneous breaks and exuberant vocals with a style that felt both effortlessly loose and deeply cathartic, keeping the crowd enthralled throughout the set.
